Notice from the General Mexican Consulate in Raleigh

The General Mexican Consulate in Raleigh has sent out a notice to the Mexican community regarding the earthquake that impacted Mexico on September 19, 2017. For more information about the notice including phone numbers to locate family members in Mexico City and more information about making donations to the Mexican Red Cross please see below:

• The organization, Cruz Roja Mexicana, has put the Reestablishment of Contact between Family Members program at your disposal. This program is to support those that have lost contact with someone in Mexico City after the 7.1 earthquake. For their services you can contact a representative through this number: (011-52) 55-10844517 and (011-52) 55-10844795.

Also, we reiterate that the Mexican community can communicate with the Center of Information and Mexican Assistance (Centro de Información y Asistencia a Mexicanos- CIAM) in the United States through this number: 1855 4636 395. They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
