GET-INVOLVED

There are many ways to get involved in the different PASOs programs and make a major difference in the lives of underserved women and children

WAYS TO HELP:

Volunteer

If you live in a community where PASOs already exists, you can become a PASOs Volunteer.

We always need volunteers to help with the following activities:

  • Childcare
  • Interpretation
  • Transportation
  • Outreach events
  • Database Management
  • Program evaluation
  • Marketing and communication
  • Grant writing
  • Research
  • Administrative assistance
  • Soliciting donations

Volunteering at PASOs is an excellent way to improve your language skills, expand your resume, and get course credit! Come help us with our mission and we will work to help you with yours.

Contact the Coordinator of the site nearest you if interested for more information on volunteer qualifications and current site needs.

Donate

Short on time? PASOs thrives with donations of all kinds.

If you are interested in donating to help PASOs survive financially, you can follow this link: https://giving.sc.edu/givenow.aspx and donate to the Arnold School of Public Health, specifying PASOs as the recipient. PASOs will get 100% of your donation. If you have any questions regarding financial donations, or prefer to donate in person, contact Julie Smithwick at julie@scpasos.org or (803)777-5466.

We often also accept non-monetary donations, especially in the wake of natural disasters. However, we do not have anywhere to store donations, so we ask that if interested in donating to PASOs participants, you contact the program coordinator in your region. Contact information can be found here: http://www.scpasos.org/contact-us/.

Bring PASOs to you!

If you live in a community where you think PASOs would be important, you can help to bring it to your area! Contact the program director with your ideas. Go the www.scpasos.org page to find contact information.
