The PASOs program takes its messages and materials to the Latino community, to places where community members live, work, dine, and shop. Information is provided on healthy pregnancies, local resources such as WIC offices and health departments, women’s health before or between pregnancies, and newborn health guides. The local PASOs coordinator and volunteers give out folic acid vitamins and are available for private consultation and to register pregnant women for the prenatal course.
