There are many ways to get involved in the PASOs program, and make a major difference in the lives of underserved women and children.
WAYS TO HELP:
- If you live in a community where PASOs already exists, you can become a PASOs Volunteer!
- If you live in a community where you think PASOs would be important, you can help to bring it to your area! Contact the program director with your ideas.
- If you would like to donate to the PASOs program, your donation will be used to purchase educational materials for pregnant women, baby items for use in the prenatal classes, diapers and baby clothes for women with newborns who are in need, incentive items for community outreach and nutritional snacks for educational meetings with low-income families.
Make your gift today, complete and mail the donation card [PDF], or give online - remember to specify "PASOs Program" as the purpose of your gift (bottom of web page).
- Any and all talents are welcome! PASOs is involved in the Latino community in many ways. We connect underserved families with bilingual volunteers who can help them with their health care appointments. We help facilitate small-group English classes for Spanish-speaking women who want to learn English. We work to educate the population of South Carolina about the Latino community and all they have to offer. We participate in research projects to learn more and become better advocates for the health needs of our Latino population. If you would like to get involved in any of these activities, please contact the program director.
Read the PASOs Volunteer orientation guide if you're interested in volunteering!
