PASOs-Beaufort began in 2009 as an initiative of the Together for Beaufort-Adequacy of Prenatal Care Coalition and the March of Dimes.

PASOs offers a prenatal education course in Spanish using a curriculum that is based on Latino cultural values. The course consists of a total of fourteen hours of sharing and discussion. Each session provides information and resources on a range of maternal and child health topics.
PASOs classes are held in the following locations:

Outreach, Leadership Development and Other Services
PASOs conducts regular community outreach events in Beaufort and Jasper counties, in collaboration with different organizations. If you would like to attend or schedule an event, contact Yajaira at 843-476-6189 or pasosbeaufort@gmail.com.
PASOs offers individual support and connection to resources for Latino families, including The Benefit Bank.
PASOs is training a team of community health educators, or promotores, in Beaufort County. These leaders will work within their communities to educate about maternal and child health and connect others to health and education services.
