PASOs in Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley Counties began in 2010 through a partnership with the College of Nursing of the Medical University of South Carolina. The program is part of the Hispanic Health Initiative.
PASOs Prenatal Classes
PASOs offers a prenatal education course in Spanish using a curriculum that is based on Latino cultural values. The course consists of a total of fourteen hours of sharing and discussion. Each session provides information and resources on a range of maternal and child health topics.
Classes are currently offered on Mondays from 9:00am-12:30pm at:
Midland Park Primary School
2415 Midland Park Rd. North Charleston, SC 29406.
And on Thursdays from 9:00am-12:30pm at:
Our Lady of Mercy Wellness House
1684 Brownswood Rd. Johns Island, SC 29455

Outreach and Other Services

PASOs offers individual support and connection to resources for Latino families, including The Benefit Bank.
